Level II: The Immanuel Approach for Emotional Healing
Bring the healing presence of Immanuel to your community.
The Immanuel Approach for Emotional Healing is a comprehensive cohort program equipping Practitioners, pastors, therapists, counselors, lay leaders, and healers to practice the Immanuel Approach in the midst of pain and trauma.
The Immanuel Approach is a powerful tool for trauma healing, addressing attachment wounds and unmet developmental needs by building safety and attachment with Jesus. When painful or unsettling memories emerge, clients can invite Jesus to bring presence, insight and healing to unresolved pain and unintegrated parts.
Emotional healing is sacred ground that requires in-depth training and supervision to maintain ethical practices. The Immanuel Institute is committed to training trauma-equipped Practitioners who prioritize their own healing and demonstrate proficiency in complex scenarios.
In Level II: The Immanuel Approach for Emotional Healing, students learn to build relational capacity and maturity skills, to re-establish interrupted connection with Jesus, and to follow Jesus' lead when trauma appears. Hands-on coaching helps students facilitate a client's two-way communication with Jesus without becoming directive or causing additional harm.
Students who satisfactorily complete The Immanuel Approach for Emotional Healing are eligible to pursue designation as Certified Practitioners of the Immanuel Approach (CP-IA). Certification involves advanced coaching with observation, Practicum hours, and a commitment to personal healing. Certification is optional.
Course Distinctives
Level II Cohort members engage with advanced topics, including trauma work, and receive in-depth mentorship from Advanced Practitioners.
Students hone their skills in a supportive small group setting, building confidence and allowing for detailed personal feedback from coaches.
While enrolled, students are welcomed into the Face to Face online healing community at no cost. Several professional one-on-one Immanuel Approach sessions are included with the cost of tuition. This is an investment in students' holistic wellbeing--allowing them to serve healthfully and wholeheartedly.
