Apply to Become a Certified Practitioner of the Immanuel Approach (CP-IA)

The Immanuel Institute is glad to welcome graduates of Level II: The Immanuel Approach for Emotional Healing to apply for designation as Certified Practitioners of the Immanuel Approach (CP-IA).

Certification requires applicants to complete activities in each of the following categories: Education, Experience, and Evaluation. This application form initiates the certification process and serves to ensure you have completed each of the required steps.

When you submit this form, you will be directed to a payment page to submit your $350 certification fee. This fee covers the cost of observation and evaluation, access to Continuing Education opportunities, and the opportunity to be featured in the Immanuel Institute Directory of Certified Practitioners. (If you are not granted certification, a portion of this fee will be refunded to you, less the cost of observation and evaluation.) Certification is valid for two years.

To complete your application, email cathy@immanuelinstitute.org with the subject line "CP-IA Application Documents." Remember to attach:

- Photos of your completed "CP-IA Initial Certification" Tracking Tool

- A video of one recorded session for evaluation

- A photo of the Reflection Tool you completed after facilitating the recorded session

Applications are received on a rolling basis, and applicants will be notified within one month of submission.

Have you completed Level I: The Immanuel Approach for Life or CORE: Foundations?

Have you completed the Understanding Trauma course?

Have you completed Level II: The Immanuel Approach for Emotional Healing or CORE: Immersion?

In which cohort did you participate?

Have you facilitated and tracked at least 10 Immanuel Approach sessions outside of class and practicum?

Have you received and tracked at least 8 Immanuel Approach sessions from a Certified Practitioner?

Have you recorded yourself facilitating one Immanuel Approach session for observation?

Have you filled out the Reflection Tool for your recorded session?

Upon certification, you have the option of being listed in the Immanuel Institute Directory of Certified Practitioners. If you would like to be included on the website, how would you like your name and contact information to appear? (Options include Name, letters after your name, City and State, Website, Email Address, and Phone Number. Think of your online safety and how you'd like new clients to reach you.)

Do you offer Immanuel Approach sessions in person or virtually?

Applicants will be notified of certification determination within one month.
